The aim of the course is to teach the actor the craft of the Meisner technique and the art of acting in front of the camera which appears spontaneous and surprising from moment to moment. Systematic acting and camera training based on Meisner and further developed by André Bolouri for immediacy and spontaneity in acting, creative freedom, transparency, emotional depth and openness, solid preparation and the ability to let go, and last but not least clarity of action. Including the development of a professional showreel (including shooting and editing of 2 scenes).

The first two weeks are intensive training based on the Meisner technique expanded by André Bolouri and exercises such as repetition and independent activity. In weeks three and four, each participant will then work on two scenes tailored to their type that show their acting personality and individuality. In weeks five and six, filming will take place and the material will then be edited into professional showreel scenes.
The Meisner acting training is supplemented by the camera training, casting and personal coaching modules to support and deepen your presence. Camera, casting and personal coaching modules enable you to train and improve your art and craft, your audition qualities as well as your awareness of yourself as the artist.
Application deadline: March 22, 2025 // In order to achieve the best possible individual results, we work in small groups. Therefore, a work sample or a selection interview is part of our selection process.
Costs: €2,913 including filming and editing of 2 showreel scenes
Funding: Federal Employment Agency/Job Center – If you are an actor who is unemployed or is registered as “at risk of unemployment”, there is the possibility of having the costs fully covered by your responsible employment agency or job center.
